[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]On a short return from a stretched consultation with the African Union, on the establishment of the African Union Humanitarian Agency, Dr. Babafemi Badejo on the 15th of December, 2018, shared his views on some key national issues, through an interview with Channels T.V.
At the interview with Shola Soleye, the legal practitioner and academic, with vast experience in international affairs, policy environment and Peace operations, focused on the subjects of restructuring, corruption and the on-going technical consultation for the AUC on the establishment of an African based Humanitarian Agency.
Decrying the current pervasive spread of corruption across various segments of the Nigerian society, he called for a broader understanding of corruption. He believed the AUHA would be designed in such a way that priorities, local solutions and funding, whilst also focusing on disaster readiness and prevention.
